Trocaly

Make the World Better

Give what you don't use. Get what you need. No cash — credits.

Nothing wasted. Everything used fully.

Founding members join free — after the founding period, membership is CA$150/year.

Credits held until both sides confirm No cash, ever — credits can't be bought or cashed out Every member has a public show-up record

Founding Toronto cluster — Leslieville first.

How it works

Give — post things or skills you can offer.
Earn credits — credits are held safely and move only when both sides confirm.
Claim — spend credits on what you need.

Credits are never bought or sold. Your credit line starts at 100 and grows to 300, then 500 with a good record.

What can be exchanged

Goods and skills of all kinds. Rides are coming later.

Never exchanged: food and drinks; alcohol, cannabis, tobacco, and vapes; medicines; weapons, ammunition, and pepper spray; used baby car seats and cribs; used helmets; counterfeit goods; live animals; and services that legally require a licence (such as medical or legal advice, or electrical and gas work).

Trocaly Membership

How membership works

Founding member — free. While the first Toronto cluster forms, founding members pay nothing and everything is included.

Member — CA$150/year. Once the cluster is alive, membership is one single price: CA$150 per year. No tiers, and no per-exchange fees — ever.

Questions

Do members ever pay each other?

No — credits only, and credits are never bought, sold, or cashed out.

What does the fee cover?

Running Trocaly. Exchanges themselves are never charged.

Can I leave?

Yes — cancel anytime and simply stop renewing. If you paid within the last 10 days and have not completed an exchange, you get a full refund (see the Terms). The full rules are in the Terms and Privacy Policy.

Help

They didn't show up

Open the exchange in and tap "They didn't show up". Your held credits return in full, and the no-show is recorded on their profile. Three no-shows freeze a credit line and trigger a review.

Something's wrong

Tap "Something's wrong" in the exchange (in ) before confirming — credits stay held while Trocaly reviews. To report a listing itself, open it in Explore and tap "Report this listing". For anything else, email us at [email protected]. Never confirm an exchange that didn't happen or wasn't as described — confirmation is what moves credits.

Rescheduling

Message the other member in the exchange and agree a new time. Rescheduling beforehand is always free.

Safety

Meet in public places where practical. If anyone is in danger, call 911 first, then report it in the exchange.

The rules in short

Credits are earned only by giving — never bought or sold. Trocaly can warn, add strikes, freeze a credit line, suspend, or end a membership for conduct that harms the community (Terms §8). Decisions come with a reason and 7 days to respond.
